That Which Ain't "The Gospel"

There's a whole heck of a lot that tries to pass itself 
off as "gospel" today. And for that matter, there's a
lot of stuff out there in Christendom, that passes 
itself off as "truth".  With approximately 41,000
christian denominations and organizations
(according to Christianity Today) in the WORLD, 
one has to wonder: Are we all confused?
Or what?? Can everybody possibly be right??
This topic, I desire to focus on "what is the gospel?"
*or* "what's gospel to you?" *or* "what ain't the gospel?"

One of the first answers we are told in many churches,
Bible Colleges, VBS meetings and church camps is ...
"the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ!"
While that IS factual and integral to the message, that
ain't the gospel! 
If you were weaned on the distribution of "gospel tracts"
as a zealous disciple, and if you especially come from this
era, there is the famous "Four Spiritual Laws", first introduced by Bill Bright, Campus Crusade for Christ.
In this short but "soft-sell" tract, the message states:

"Just as there are physical laws that govern
the physical universe, so are there spiritual laws
that govern your relationship with God."
a. God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life.
b. Man is sinful and separated from God, and therefore
      cannot enjoy God's love and plan for his life.
c. Jesus Christ is God's only provision for man's sin.
     Through Him you can know and experience
     God's love and plan for your life.
d. Man has to accept this plan and receive Jesus as his
      Savior and Lord to know and experience God's love
      and plan for his life.

There are scriptures and explanation of Jesus' sacrifice
on the cross ... there is a very nice illustration of the 
"Lord is Central" life, and the life without Christ.
As positive as this message is presented, it still is NOT
the gospel! Again, it conveys some of the dynamic of
what Jesus has done for mankind, but the gospel has
yet to be expressed . . . Actually, Bill Bright was a wonderful
man who loved Jesus and college kids; his tract on the Spirit-filled life is an excellent resource, and has helped many. I am quite sure that many have been led to God through the simplicity of his "four spiritual laws".

Another example that has been used for nearly centuries is "the sinner's prayer" and also "altar calls". While surely I can say that God has probably used these methods of man to save some or many, it still is not conveying the gospel! I am amazed at how some preachers believe that all they got to do is preach any message, and then incorporate "the sinner's prayer" (which is really a modification of the Publican's prayer in Luke) and believe that someone/everyone is "saved"!

So the following are NOT the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ:
1. The Four Spiritual Laws
2. The Sinner's Prayer
3. The Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus
4. Altar Calls
5. "Turn or Burn" Sermons
6. Preaching of The Ten Commandments
7. Church Membership

While some people would almost faint that I even mention these seven, there are many more that believe unless you
believe and practice these things (and many other precepts),
you cannot get into heaven, and you may even be subject to rebuke or church discipline! Again, I say these are NOT the Glorious Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ!
What then IS The Gospel??

1. The gospel of the kingdom brings HEALING (Matt. 4:23)
2. The gospel is a PROCLAMATION (Matt. 9:35)
3. The Gospel is GOOD NEWS. The preaching of it ushered 
       in the kingdom of God (Mark 1:15)
4. The Gospel brings forth miracles (Matt 11:5)
5. The Gospel sets free, opens blind eyes, welcomes the poor
6. The Gospel is preached throughout the world (Acts 16:10
      Col. 1:23)
7.  It is THE POWER OF GOD for salvation and deliverance
      and healing to ALL who believe (Rom. 1:16)
8. The gospel establishes LIVES (Rom. 16:25)
9.  The gospel is LIT with the light of God (2 Cor. 4:4;
        1 Tim. 1:11)
10. The Gospel=The good news that God justifies our lives
         by faith, grants us his righteousness in trade for our sin,
         and blesses our lives like he did with Abraham, making
         us partakers of The Promises, fit for The Kingdom and
         granting us the Holy Spirit as a gift,
         so that we will never be alone. He transforms us,
         gives us a new heart, new mind and new nature. We are
         made into "new creations". This is all done by and thru
         the message of the good news, the gospel and Jesus'  ultimate sacrifice on the cross and consequent resurrection   (Galatians 3:8 and Hebrews 8, Luke 24 and 1 Cor. 15). The gospel began in the Old Testament, as a foretaste, and was completed and fulfilled in The New Testament. This Gospel,
is the penultimate message of God for all time, bringing Restoration to ALL.  The Lord God Almighty is walking hand-in-hand with man in the garden again.

Plus, we cannot overlook the fact of The Introduction of God's Love, Grace and Forgiveness offered to every person. It is wonderful to point out, when one studies Romans & 1st Corinthians, the apostle declares that God has already done all the work, and man cannot add to or obligate himself any requirement (except "believing"), to receive what God has already freely given! IT IS A DONE DEAL.

In short, if there is a message out there, purporting to be "the gospel of Jesus Christ", and it does not impute the righteousness of Jesus Christ as a free gift (Romans 5), then it is not the gospel. Also, I would like to add that the message of the gospel gives FREEDOM. If you are not free today, but still under bondage to men, or evil habits or evil thoughts toward others, or given over to depression or despair, then "check your gospel". Perhaps it's time ... to BELIEVE.

"The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”  (Mark 1:15)

The Expectoration of Expectations

Ex·pec·to·rate:  v. ex·pec·to·rat·ed, ex·pec·to·rat·ing, ex·pec·to·rates. v.tr. 1. To eject from the mouth; spit. 2. To cough up and eject by spitting.

Sometimes in deliverance counselling sessions (i.e. "deliverance ministry"), we come into

contact with various people from all walks of life, with differing issues and problems. 

We have discovered that many ills that beset folks are not always "demonic issues" or

forces, per se. Often it seems, more often than not, these are afflicted with PROGRAMS.

Programming. This "programming" is a result of having been raised by parents or guardians

and even siblings that indoctrinate other children with "family mantras" and doctrines and

belief systems and concepts, which in retrospect, one could refer to some of these concepts

as "doctrines of demons", simply because how crazzzzzy and insane these concepts are.

Words are not just words. Words have power. For good, or for evil. And when those

words are LIES, they can do great damage.  In genuine deliverance ministry, where

a person is truly set free and "delivered" from some bondage or stronghold, there

is often the "expectoration" or spitting out of the bad. And that's a good thing.

Unfortunately, some "deliverance ministers" will spend all day with a "subject" or "host"

who, let's say is OCD. I've seen it happen. These well-meaning but ignorant "ministers"

end up screaming and banging heads with "demons", and rebuking until their rebuker

is worn out, and accomplish very little. Truth be known, the exercising of the gifts of

the Spirit, word of knowledge for example, can get to the bottom of the problem. The

Spirit can reveal and unveil the "real culprits". It is usually some sort of TRAUMA,

some event or even hypnosis/mind control and programming. And not all "programmers"

are aware that they are, in fact, "programming" their children by repetition, rote, ritual

and even fear, to the point of subconscious embedding of information that will dictate

the path and direction and even behavior of that child for years and years to come.

This is how you end up with a "Sybil", or an adult with DID. 

But I digress.

Expectation or 'expectations', in the positive realm, is a GOOD thing.

When we are expecting blessings or improvements to enter our lives, that

is a satisfying and rewarding feeling.  "Good Parents" want their children

to excel, to succeed and have a happy life. "Good Friends" want their friends

to be happy and have their dreams come true. No argument there.

But when expectations are 'in the negative', they have to be "spit out".

They are LIMITERS.  They are "the voices in my head" . . . the nagging

voices, the constant repetition of words, ideas, opinions, dark feelings and

beliefs spoken as "gospel truth", over and over and over again.  It feels like

a force deep within the mind that cannot be easily grasped or yanked out.

Don't think that "nagging" and "hen-pecking" are not some other sure-fire 

ways of programming people's minds in the home. Oh yes, they are.

In the psyche, when conflicting expectations from OTHERS are at war within,

the result can become disastrous. Let me explain by making a list.

1. "High Expectations".  This is when parents/family members decide what

       career or life direction or decisions you should make or go, which are

       overly demanding and do not fit your makeup and personality.

2.  "Low Expectations".  Let's say that you're the only one in the family

        that has ever desired and pursued college, even to graduation. You

        desire to "make yourself into something greater", and you want a

        career that is meaningfull, and maybe even life/world changing.

        IF  the rest of the family has set their sights "low" and the mentality

        is just to "get by", you might find yourself battling a stronghold

        from the family. Not that you won't win. You CAN win. But we

        have seen the struggle of others who were handed this dynamic.

3.  "No Expecations". You might as well call this "minus the cheering squad",

       because one will ultimately feel that they are "all alone" in their life,

       and with no visible "support team", it's hard to climb that mountain.

4.  "Required Expectations".  This is most difficult to deal with

        as it represents the "family mantras" and doctrines that "the family"

        puts upon a young adult, the grown "child" who is trying to find their

        way in the world. Many times these "family mantras" are actually

       "blockers" to inhibit growth, and limit success and prosperity to a living

        of a static and "normal" or "typical" lifestyle, which for a "unique" person

       or artistic person is just too restrictive. 

5.  "Demanding Expectations". This is literally the "what others are expecting

        you to do with your life" programming . . . the complete OPPOSITE of

        who you are, and where you want to be, to even the ATTACK of what

        you want to do and be! This is the worst of them all. This is a malicious

        and hateful affront, against YOU and your choices, your true destiny.

        Although "destiny" has been defined as that dynamic that will break

        through regardless of outward tampering ... a person who has been so

       opposed may suffer some heartache for some time. If this is you, then

       my advice is to EXPECTORATE!  Spit it out!! The sooner the better,

       for your own sanity and peace of mind.  Who wants to be controlled

       for all their life??

Well, there you have it, the FIVE I'm aware of.  These are five strongholds

that need to be ejected, spat out of the mouth, dislodged from your being.

They get embedded in the subconscious mind, they have to be extracted.

And just like a bad computer program, "disable, uninstall and DELETE"

them! Spit 'em out!!

And of course, you should have your very own pure expectations,

like hopes and dreams, which can be the positive force for good and productivity and

success and prosperity in YOUR LIFE.  Know this one thing: whatever has been

stolen from you CAN BE restored ... whatever has been blocked CAN BE "re-delivered" ...

whatever has died pre-maturely CAN BE RESURRECTED.  There IS a God who 

CARES, and CAN and WILL see this through.  Believe you me.  :D

GETTING PERSONAL!

 

"THIS TIME IT'S PERSONAL!!"   Ever hear that, like in a movie line or somewhere?

Hopefully not from your next door neighbor! Yowww! Better get up and run! LOL

But seriously folks,  this time I do want to share some very personal things with you,

about myself, and my Trek into genuine "person-hood", beyond what the world dictates

and the molds it wants to squeeeeeeeze us into.

When I was a wee little child, it was said of me that I was a "Happy Child".  I even

still have a picture of myself from back then, about oh I'd say 6-10 months old, sitting

in a rather vintage "seat" outside of my house. Or some house anyway. I have my

hands lifted up in the air as if I'm praising God! And a BIG SMILE on my face!

Somewhere between then and now, I miss the Big Smile.

Anyway, my wife said she had a vision of me once. I was 8 years old, all dressed up

with my little suitcase packed, and I was ready to leave home, and go out to conquer

the world! She had a talk with this little 8 year old version of me, and I was amazing,

according to her.  I was fed up with home life, and I was ready to travel and see the

world, or at least, the rest of the country. She told me that she thinks I lost some of

that dynamic, some of that young adventurous drive. Or someone took it from me.

That sounds about right.

But growing up,  I always loved to travel, and did as much of it as I could. I did

a LOT of driving. Across The Nation. Well, some of it. And in college, even more.

I loved it. I loved meeting new people, seeing new sights, experiencing different

cultures and meeting "foreigners" and even trying to talk like them! I moved around

a bunch, as an adult. I hated that saying "Bloom where you are planted", because I

just wanted to say, "Hey, Shut Up! I'm a Transplant!" And so, I would "bloom"

wherever I was transplanted, trying to find out the "meaning of my life".

I remember one day back in the days I was attending Bible College, I was

at one of their many seminars. Toward the end of the seminar, they always encouraged

young people to make some kind of commitment to "full-time christian service", i.e.

The Ministry.  I got up front, and just like when I was in grade school making

little speeches before the rest of the class, I blurted out: "Well, I'd like to

work in retail, and have my own health-food store, and also I would like to write

like a 'christian writer' and do some music, and also ... I know I'm called to PREACH!"

The looks on some of the people was priceless! Some were bewildered, because here's

this guy who can't make up his mind what he wants to do ... or I must have been quite

amusing to some others ... and some probably thought "Where's he going with all this,

this ain't what I expected??" ... and then some "Amens" and "Applause" when I mentioned

'preaching'!  Whew! What do you want? You want me to pick 'one thing' and be focused

on that, and that ALONE, so I can be "successful" or what? You mean, it's NOT OK for

me to like 'many things', and have MANY TALENTS and to do ALL OF THEM???

But ... THAT was me. A dude with many likes, many talents, equally frustrated at how

he was gonna do all of them, or any of them.  {Funny thing is, now looking back, I did

DO all of those things, or variations of them.}

Enter this one guy, let's call him "Ned" (that's a safe name as I don't know any 'Neds').

I'm in a meeting in Missouri somewhere, and Ned comes up to me and starts rebuking

the "child in me" and telling it to DIE!!  Yikes and Double Yikes!!! What the frick-frack

is going on??  'Thees ees new doctrine ... i never heerd it beeeforrrrrre!'  Do you know

how WRONG that sounds?? Well, God showed me that guy was just ignorant, and He (God)

didn't let my "inner child" die, and I was in great need of that "child" (thankyouverymuch)

and that little child inside of me was of GREAT VALUE, and that 'the child' only needed to

BE HEALED, not "killed".  This "minister" dude thought, when he observed my "child-likeness"

and my sense of humor, and other manifestations of innocence and freedom, wanted to kill

something he "discerned" was evil.  ERRRRRRRRNNNNHH! Wrong answer. "Let the

little children come to me", even if he's in his 40's.  I hope you get that, because it makes

sense to me, and Ned's "prophetic words" did not.

For years, I have had people, family members, old wives etc. try to tell me what they

thought I should BE, what I should DO with my life. And because I came from a

background of "being controlled",  I actually fell into some of their 'plans', to near

destruction of my Original Planner.  Thank God He is The Restorer! 

You know how it is, right?  If you''re a christian and do music, then you've just got

to be in praise & worship! Or if you're a speaker, then you must be a preacher!

If you're a "writer", well then, you've got to plug into the right christian publishers!

And if you're a comic or a film-maker ... well, you get my drift!

Jesus wants us to be SALT & LIGHT in the World, and many of us are just beaming

our lights into each other's faces, and salting all the christian plates ... how many

are really going INTO ALL THE WORLD?? To Light it up ... to season it ... to influence

it and turn it toward God, toward the light ... and to do so, without HATE, prejudice, bias,

competition, RELIGION, "piety" and pride, superiority, pretense, alienation, being 'untouchable

and unrelatable' etc.!

It's like this folks: God told me over 6 years ago that HE was returning me to my "rock roots"

(in the past, I went to a lot of rock concerts, played rock records and played the music) ... to

reach out to those in the industry, and make a splash, make a difference.

That's what I'm doing now.  I have gone from the guy in the "work-a-day" world, to 9-5 to

ministry of different kinds, to CREATING unique music, art, films and writings! All led

by The Spirit, and the Talents within bursting out of me. They have sometimes flowed out

LIKE A RIVER. And no, maybe I have NOT been famous, or a house-hold name, or have

seen lots of money (yet!) coming from this. But Yes, I am an "accomplished" musician/artist...

a "published" author ... and definitely a "Renaissance Man". My satisfaction comes from the

concept that I AM fulfilling my calling & destiny, and what I'm doing does please The Father.

The greatest FREEDOM is doing what you were MADE TO DO, without some "slavemaster"

dictating to you "the slave" what you should or shouldn't do. Too much torment and punishment

with that ... been there, done that, burnt the T-shirt. And so, with that, I press on. One day I will

have the liberty to publish my entire STORY. But not yet. I'll let you know when that time comes.

In the meantime . . .  BE FREE.  BE YOURSELF.  BE WHO YOU WERE MADE TO BE.

TRUE SALVATION

SALVATION is much more than a rescue from a terrible demise. Salvation is the restoration of an ENTIRE LIFE,
 not just what evangelicals mistakenly label "the soul" ... they are actually speaking of the "spirit".
The soul, as we all should realize, is "mind/ will / emotions" of a person. But according to every place
that even the best devout Jewish scholars read in scripture, along with other spiritually gifted leaders,
God is about "saving" the entire man!  And the word "save" or it's complement "salvation"  denotes
"wholeness, healing and health, soundness, peace, safety, rescue and deliverance, and a better quality of life"!
Even Jesus when he said, "I have come that you may have LIFE, and that more abundantly", was speaking
 about the ZOE Life, The God-kind of life! Trading in your "low-life" for his "higher life".  There is more
depth of meaning to the word "salvation". It also points to beyond this life. There is a resurrection. But few
talk about it. Many evangelists have watered down the "gospel" to mean, "saving you from hell", instead of
preaching the glorious power in it, the TRANSFORMATION that the Apostle Paul writes about. Man, I'll tell you,
this is one guy who got it RIGHT.  Paul called the GOSPEL "the power of God".

 When you preach the TRUE gospel, burdens are lifted. Depression is broken. Despair is destroyed. Broken hearts

and broken minds are mended. Bodies are Healed. Curses are broken, "demons" flee, fortunes are restored, relationships are restored, blessings abound, miracles happen and LIVES ARE CHANGED!  THAT's the kind of gospel I want to preach,  the one I believe in, and I have seen its power!  Yes! I have.  

Let's recall the story of a little man who climbed a tree to get a closer look at Jesus, who was travelling with his disciples and many other followers. The man's name was Zaccheus. Jesus stopped everything to look up at him, in that tree, to tell him, "Zaccheus, we're having tacos today at your house". Zaccheus obliged. He was drawn.  Jesus was irresistable. After the meal, Zaccheus proclaimed to The Master, "Look, Lord, I'm giving half of my belongings to the poor, and all those I've robbed while being a lowdown dirty tax collector, I'm paying them back 4 times as much!!" Wow. Stop to meditate on that, that's a Selah Moment :D  Jesus response: "Today SALVATION has come to this house, because he too is a son of Abraham.  For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” (Luke 19:8-10). Zaccheus was a full-fledged Jew. He was ok with God, according to the law, we're pretty sure. But it says "he was lost", doesn't it? Yeah, ol' Zacc had "lost his way" in relationships, and in intimacy with God, but not so far gone ... after all, he did climb the tree! But the credit for the CHANGE has to go to JESUS,  he was the Influence that made the difference! We have to see this, it's not our "choice" but His! It's not our "move", it's his power!  That's what brings ...TRANSFORMATION ... occurring due to the presence of God in Jesus.  Zaccheus received the Messiah, the message and the power, all during lunch!  And that, my friends, is just ONE example of salvation, 

I could mention many more.

That's what it's all about. That's The Message.  SELAH, and calmly think of that!

DELIVERANCE ... Not A "911" Ministry

I think there are some in the body of Christ that believe that "deliverance ministry/
ministers is like a "segmented emergency adjunct ministry", similar to the 911
ambulance! After all, that's who you call upon when you've got a "real doozy"
of a case, a severe "demon-possessed" person, or some "crazy" running around!
Right? I mean, really, a lot of churches send these types "under the tent" or off
to some other room to be dealt with, away from the rest of the flock ... don't want
to disturb anybody now, do we? Funny ... that ain't how Jesus dealt with matters
like that, He just sorta openly handled "them" and cast demons out! Right in front of
everybody! Now, I understand that in some cases, you've got to remove some people
who might be extreme, dangerous, or otherwise unsafe, wisdom must be exercised!
But, a note here: Most of the "deliverance ministry" Renee & I have conducted for the past
year has been breaking off curses,  exorcising 'witchcraft issuances", removing & dismantling
"mind-control programming" and the like. It's all because the way my wife prayed. She wanted
to know why certain people are not prospering the way they should, and for God to reveal the
causes, and fix the problems! WOW. What a prayer!! It was like George Washington Carver
asking for God to reveal the peanut to him! So ... all this secret info comes flooding in, and
cracking the code, to DELIVERANCE ... which by the way, is part of SALVATION! It is
part of our inheritance, what Christ purchased for us on the cross! "He surrounds me
with songs of deliverance" the psalmist writes! So... next time you need "delivered" from
something, think of it as that extra OOOMPH from the Holy Spirit to take you to the next
level! Not always is it "calling the paramedics" or "for surgery" ... BUT it sure feels good
after the fact! Remember, Jesus HEALS. He saves. *And* DELIVERS. And there's a whole
lotta lotta meaning in that WORD.

WHO IS 'THE WORD OF GOD'?

Trick question?? Nope. Not "what" ... but WHO???

John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

Yes here, Jesus is THE LOGOS. The "reasonable, logical and spiritual expression of God".

But then, after reading in Ephesians 6:17: "And take the helmet of salvation,

and the Sword of the Spirit, which is The Word of God." We see the real definition, don't we?

The Sword of the Spirit, the same two-edged sword mentioned in Hebrews, that same two-edged sword

coming out of the mouth of Jesus in Revelation ... IS none other than The Spirit's Sword ... The Word of God!

YET ... let me show you another verse: "He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood,

and His name is called The Word of God."  IT IS UNDENIABLE that is referring

to JESUS CHRIST and none other can be called The Word of God, except for

that SWORD! Now before you go to rinse out your pipe, and try to smoke this,

think of all the times in the Bible when it mentioned "the word of the Lord" or

the "word(s) of God".  Whatever the Hebrew designation is, we know that God

is SPEAKING. They are words that are SPOKEN. Many times in the NT, the

Greek uses the word RHEMA.  It is the "spoken" word that ZINGS into your heart!

And before it was ever "written" ... it was spoken! It is that "spoken word" that

came into Mary, that conceived into Jesus and became ... The Word of God!

So you see ... my heading above "The Word of God" = TITLE.

Now, this might fry some heads but ... I am coming to the revelation that The Bible,

the physical book, the paper it is written on is of very little value WITHOUT THE

HOLY SPIRIT enlightening the reader/user ... there have been so many who have

misconstrued, misinterpreted, twisted and otherwise mangled its true meaning ...

The True Word of God being 'JESUS' and that WORD proceeding

from His mouth, that brings LIFE! And that book, The Bible, was never meant to

be a CLUB, or a LEGAL  document forced upon folks, or something to abuse people

or enslave them with! Can people find God outside of the Bible? Of course! The Holy

Spirit is IN the earth, the human heart can "cry out to God",

and there are a multitude of witnesses God has placed, even in creation! I am beginning

to see The Bible as the "manual for Life", the "guidebook" or

"roadmap" if you will ... a book yes, inspired by God, yes with The words of God

within, and yes with power in many of its chapters. But Revelation with God did NOT

cease, when that book was finished ... "The" Word of God is a PERSON ... not a book.

His Name is JESUS. And when it comes to titles, "THE" Word of God" ... That's WHO

I'm thinking of, right now.  SON OF THE LIVING GOD.

MIND CONTROL

Is not something that is discussed much amongst ministers ...

not discussed much around anyone really. BUT there is new

information coming forth to reveal that MANY have fallen

victims of this insidious and horrendous activity. You can

hardly label it an "activity", it is more like a THREAT.

Those who are big into mind-games, psychology and witchcraft

controls are using "mind control programming" on the weak, innocent

and unsuspecting. When I say "weak",  I mean "very young".  When

I say "innocent",  I mean those who are called by God, but were 1st

targeted by wicked people/relatives.

Some of you may have heard of "MK Ultra" or Monarch-type programming ...

it is a proven conspiracy that has captured several artists in the music industry.

There are other programs as well. Note that while these stories in and of themselves

are harmless, the wicked use of them to control is NOT: "Wizard of Oz"..."Cinderella"
... "Sleeping Beauty" ... "Alice in Wonderland" ... "Peter Pan"... and others fashioned by inventive "evil geniuses". These are planted in the subconscious realm of an individual, either

by hypnosis or "suggestive triggers or mantras", and they always have disastrous

effects upon these young "targeted" ones.

Not many know that they have been targeted. Michael Jackson was one ... he

had some serious prayer covering, and that's the only way he was able to discover

the trap he was in. He fought against it, but did not win in the end. Why? Because he began

to expose the perpetrators. They don't like that when you do so. These are all

substantiated facts regarding Michael ... even in a video from his own mouth.

THERE IS DELIVERANCE from these hideous programs. It is by the name

and blood of JESUS that one can be set free ... and just like any computer

program, "disable, uninstall and delete" them, and cast them out "into the fire"!

God will bring the healing. It takes discernment, hearing from God and sensitivity

to the Holy Spirit. Scriptures help too, certainly, when wielded properly.   ✠

WORDS FROM A CHURCH
Visited a church last Easter. Was hoping/expecting a good word.
Boy. Was I disappointed. I went to one of those "community churches"
and they were in a "book study" (you know, one of those). In this case, The Letter of JAMES.
Personally, I would have left all that for one Sunday and majored on the resurrection. Nope, not these
guys. They married what was going on in James, chapter 2 I think, with the story of the resurrection. "Well, I thought ... if it works." It did not. You see folks ... I believe if you're gonna talk about The
Resurrection, you've gotta talk about that POWER that raises the dead, not capitalize upon the negative
and try to mix it with positive (may work in the battery world but not in LIFE) ... 

why focus on death, tragedy, problems and heartache when you got a RESURRECTION???  

OK. I didn't get it. I picked up my hat and my Bible and I left.
That message might have tickled some ears but it didn't stir any dead men's bones in any tombs anywhere.
 

NO LONGER VIEW THE FLESH
No, this is not about porn-viewing or even public swimming.
Been attending a local church called "Fire & Water".
Pretty decent actually. Very out=reaching, very giving, gives glory to God, 

has outstanding favor in community
and is growing by leaps and bounds. Kudos to the pastor for preaching on 2 Corinthians 5:16.
Yeah, a lot of people will quote verse 17 (new creation passage) but almost hardly never quote verse 16.
Pastor Gus did it with finesse and genius. He also incorporated Exodus ch. 17 about 

Moses and the Water from The Rock.
Point: The People are turning against the Man that God sent! 

2 Corinthians 5:16 says we are not to view men (sent by God)
"according to the flesh" ... i.e. worldly perspective, what fashions he wears, physique, training, financial status, celebrity status, social status, degrees, or even "eloquence".  Again kudos to the pastor for putting the focus on where things belong: GOD, and the people working together
for a common cause; and in this case, following a LEADER who LEADS, 

not a "buddy buddy" guy who some just want to get familiar with and
water down his message and authority he carries. 

Moses wasn't perfect, and he couldn't do all the work by himself.

 

THE END OF AN ERA
Was thinking the other day on the subject of ZOMBIES. Oh, you think that's wierd, too??
Well, you see, we really are all connected, aren't we? So ... if a nation goes all over the world and bombs innocent people,or destroys its youth, or dismembers bodies, and poisons its own people in the name of "progress", doesn't that freak you out?
Did you know these things were happening?
Zombie Apocalypse ... event in Florida.
Too gruesome to even reprint here. And trust me,  

I hesitated to say even what I said above 5 sentences ago.
So, when a horrible hurricane comes, or a terrible tsunami or a disastrous 

F5 Tornado or some other catastrophe,
do you call it an "act of God" and think "oh that's a coincidence"?? 

Nope. Don't think you would.
The earth groans, we groan, and zombies come outta nowhere.
 

I once visited a salvage yard, searching for a car part.
That day I was wearing my "Pink Floyd US Tour 1976" with the DSOTM logo on it. Great album btw.
Anyways, the man that ran the salvage yard said one thing to me:
"Great shirt, great band. An Era when people used to give a shit."
Looking back on that, and reading the headlines, I have to agree with the dude.
 

NO ONE KNOWS WHAT I'VE BEEN THRU
I wanted to make sure I was on the other side of a trial
when I made my "comeback" with this blog. I've been so focused on what to do with this issue,
how to raise the funds to settle it ... or should I engage in a "fundraiser" and how to do that, and how many people would be willing to help, and how many would be turned off etc etc etc. When it came down to the wire, I had to make a decision.
Fundraising used to be really quite easy for me. I would just present the need, and folks would give!
That simple. It wasn't that simple this time. 

Now I'm sharing some deep inner painful thoughts here and very personal
but sometimes as a blogger, you can't worry what folks will think. You can't be apologising all the time, cuz you will offend somebody, somewhere, sometime.
Anyway, God gave me a plan. Works much better when you get a divine plan!
Would to God that our politicians would stand/kneel in prayer long enough to get His Plan.  

Then, to work it!!
Someone said once, you can hear from God and get a directive. Watch out that the flesh will be right there to tell you how to get it done.
OH! BTW, if you got a letter from me advertising some "work at home" plan. 

THAT WASN'T ME. My mail was hacked, Had to fix that.
I apologize for any inconvenience. But if you did pursue that opportunity, and it paid off, good for you!

I have returned from a "break" . . .  altho I'm still

on "spring break" (cuz some of the kids still are)

and I needed to walk thru some things before

I decided that I was ready to write again.

Plus, been busy developing a couple of artists

and busy promoting/making my own music & such.

So, for the moment, back to blogging.

This one is special, very different.
So buckle your seat-belts, we're in for a wild ride.

me to do so!! And there is NO shame with me, I

don't particularly care what you think or what many

And you came to me, all those years ago

and presented yourself as something cuddly & jolly.

What I did not know is that you were

worming your way into my being, into

my very subconscious ... while I was but

a child, unsuspecting, trusting that you

were safe. Your programs & your hypnotic

spells by your mantras and continual

repetitive words and motions ... I was caught off guard!

And the damage had already been done. But you

didn't care. You thought an innocent and nice guy

was typical prey. It was "no skin off your back".

You struck out of jealousy, your network of evil

was looking for someone to curse, someone to haunt.

And So ... You brought in and called in

ALL your cronies to complete the task, of destroying

a LIFE. But I am HERE TODAY to tell you that ...

YOU   HAVE   LOST!

You have FAILED!!

By the weapons of my warfare and by the power

and wisdom of The Holy Spirit, we have been

enabled and anointed to unravel your secrets

you hid in the dark, to rip off your masks and

to expose your wicked and treacherous ways!

I do not say "I forgive you", for you would see that

as 'weakness' ... as you have many times pounced on my

sensitivity, the way God made me.

But you mocked me & ridiculed me.

You have been My Enemy.

But I am past you, I will not dwell on you,

and you no longer dwell anywhere in me!

And because I have gone through this horrendous

amount of suffering, abuse and trial by you,

I can help COUNTLESS others who have also

been attacked by the likes of YOU.

Like myself, I'm sure that many other peoples have spent

hours & hours of deep soul-searching, to try to discover

what exactly was the source of their defeat and oppression ...

all the while striving to follow The Master (Jesus) with a pure heart.

And religious answers were plenteous but never helped.

And some wise men tried to help, but to no avail.

The Holy Spirit showed me your stealth, your diabolical plan.

And he will show them too!

He will deliver them too.

And your kingdom will FALL.

There have been some very dark times ...

I am so very thankful that there has been a Savior

watching over me in the nightwatches ...

able to swoop down when necessary and

destroy your works, O Enemy.

It is because of the Lord Jesus and

The Holy Spirit and The Sword of The Spirit

That I have the VICTORY over you.

THIS DAY I PROCLAIM IT.

JESUS IS LORD ...

And . . .  I  am  a  Victor.

THE RESTORATION OF AMERICA

At one time without a doubt, we were a great nation.

I mean "great" as in greatness. We were respected

throughout the world. Nobody messed with us.

We believed in Almighty God, and trusted Him

for our lives and prosperity. We let everyone

know that they could have what we have, and

we were not too selfish nor greedy.

We didn't have to go around to the nations apologizing for

a bunch of evil deeds that we did to them. Oh sure,

we blew up plenty of stuff. Lots of collateral damage.

But we also went into those nations and rebuilt them.

People were proud to fly the FLAG, and nobody talked

about re-writing or dumping the Constitution. I actually

remember a course in high school known as "Citizenship",

part of American Government I think ... where we were

taught the finer recommendations on how to live in this

great country. I actually remember being taught respect

for your elders. And being polite. And saying "Please" and

"Thank You". Also "Yes, Sir" and "Yes Ma'am" when appropriate

to do so. About 20 years ago, I noticed that some youth would

not even respond if you greeted them, and most of them were

taught to be rude, and to ignore your neighbor.

We had a military that was respected throughout the world.

There wasn't a "Gitmo" and the torturing of prisoners, by us!

Years and years ago, we didn't have this "great divide" of opinion

on how this great nation should be run. We weren't in debt past our

eyeballs to the tune of over 15 Trillion Dollars.

We had a government that we encouraged to "live within its means"

and we cared about our own FIRST, and strove to take care of them.

Far from being "perfect" ... we did command a lot more respect, and

a lot more LOVE for what this country was founded upon, what this

country's principles were and what We The People really represent:

LIBERTY. FREEDOM. HONESTY. INTEGRITY. JUSTICE. PEACE.

HARD WORK. COMPASSION. HONOR. STRENGTH. FAMILY.

Now, we have seen the slaughter of myriads and myriads of unborn children ...

we see a political system and a government "gone wild" ...

we see the moral fiber worn down, the morale worn down

with a struggling economy with thousands and thousands very poor,

out of work, seemingly lost without hope, while the FAMILY has

been under attack on several fronts, individual liberties have been stolen away,

and many have been lulled to sleep by the drone of politicians and vain promises.

We have been engaged in 2 wars for over TEN years and, love the troops and all,

but it really has been at their expense. And we want to go to war with IRAN?

No. Not wise. We have too many problems at home to FIX, and besides we are

near BROKE as a nation, at least, we cannot afford another war!

There is one man who would like to change all this.

And if everybody voted for him, and he was elected, there might be a chance

to RESTORE AMERICA to some degree of glory.

We slipped from our top credit rating.

We printed/borrowed money that we did not have. Our government bailed out

the richest corporations, and many of them pocketed the wealth, and left the

little guy in the dust. We have problems abroad too, if we don't stop intervening

in every situation! We The People must demand a change. Why not?

The rest of the world has been doing it. *And* they have been succeeding!

One man I know of wants to change things, fix them, clean up the messes.

He wants to End The Fed (or at least, bring them into account!)

He wants to End The IRS.

He wants to bring ALL our troops HOME.

He wants to cut a TRILLION dollars on the debt/budget. Immediately.

He wants to RESTORE Individual Freedoms that were taken away,

and TRULY upholding the Constitution, the way things were meant to be.

NOT go into any "undeclared wars".

Spend money on Defense.

But eliminate wasteful and unnecessary military bases overseas.

If this sounds like an endorsement, then so be it.

I've done my research. And I do not have my head in the sand,

or up an apple-pie tree.

So I am voting for Ron Paul.

*OR* for someone just like him, if there was such a candidate.

I haven't seen any other, and like I said, I've done my research.

I want a REVOLUTION. But I want it done with LOVE. 

A "love-alution", if you will.

Love for this country, and what is should stand for.

I want this revolution, similar to what Christ did when

he showed up, he changed everything.

His truth became embedded in many subconscious minds.

Not some hypnotic LIE droned on by so-called political experts.

I want America restored, in every possible way.

Certainly, I want it CHANGED, the RIGHT WAY.

But not by people who are not righteous.

Not by people who hate America and would sell it off in a heartbeat.

I want to see The United States of America FREE, not

the "United States Corporation" or "Foundation".

The one that MY DAD fought 2 wars for, to keep us FREE.

This restoration will not occur overnight. It will take more

than "one man" or one President. It ain't about a political agenda,

or even some stupid party affiliation.

NOPE.

Remember, at one time, we had multiple parties in government.

There was room to THINK and express ideas and to hammer things

out until there could be some agreement. Not the passing of bad laws

in the middle of the night without the people's knowledge.

I'm gonna dare to say that maybe, just maybe that the majority of Americans

all want THE SAME THING, if they just stop bickering long enough.

We all want FREEDOM to believe, freedom to think.

To LIFE, LIBERTY and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS.

And we don't want to become another "Banana Republic" or some

other empire or "thing" under a dictator.

NOPE.

It's "the land of the brave, and the home of the free", right?

That's what I want.

If you see it differently, well, I don't know what to say.

Not likely that 100% will agree with me.

But ... some are blind, they need to have their eyes OPENED.

Surely, you have to admit, that our country needs HELP.

We have let things go wrong for too long.

Do not let anyone take away your right to SPEAK UP.

DON'T let anyone take away your guns, or the right to have them.

If that were to happen, then you will understand what I mean.

These things have happened in the past to other nations.

It was a very crippling and crushing event.

It happened, when folks forgot...when citizens took everything

"for granted" and became uncaring about The Tides.

The Signs of the Times.

The Handwriting on the Wall.

Only this time, it's a warning, not a finality.

WE CAN CHANGE IT.

IF WE WANT IT BAD ENOUGH.

I LOVE AMERICA.

THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

May God Almighty direct us to preserve it the way it was meant to be.
